EASTERN CREEK QUARTER

The Eastern Creek Quarter Shopping Centre was constructed in 2020 and is an industry-leading project in regards to sustainability and design. This project was awarded the Energy Efficiency project of the year by the Master Builders Association. The design of the precinct has been created to have a high thermal comfort and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. By integrating e1MW rooftop solar, the precinct will generate approximately 1,500,000kWh of clean energy annually. Also, a rainwater re-use system with UV filtration has been installed to service landscaping and amenities which significantly reduces water usage. The implementation of those methods has achieved a 6 Star Green Star Rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.

the waterfront SHELL COVE

The Waterfront at Shell Cove is a 5 Star Green Star rated project. Utilising many sustainable practices allows for the shopping centre’s ongoing sustainability. The precinct has 315 Kw Solar Panels, rainwater was harvested, filtered, and run through an on-site UV treatment facility prior to use in toilet and irrigation post-construction. Not only is the finished construction sustainable but throughout the construction process, large proportions of the material used was recycled.
