Opening to much media fanfare in October 2016, with the directive of delivering a European style open market place
to the Inner West of Sydney, as the project objectives, Quasar were engaged to deliver a once in a lifetime retail opportunity.

KMart Port Macquarie

Quasar is proud to have delivered the latest large format retail precinct to the people of Port Macquarie.
The project consisted of our first stand-alone Kmart store, as well as 13 other specialty tenancies with an external carpark to create the “Marina Shopping Centre”.  This project also encompassed upgrades to Walter St & Park St with considerable RMS works. The team received considerable accolades from the national headquarters of Kmart on the successful delivery of the project.

Eastpoint Shopping Centre Tamworth

This project represents the first major shopping centre development of this scope for the Tamworth region for a number of years. The 10-month program required little remedial work to commence, but encompassed specific RMS works, the delivery of a Woolworths (3600sqm) and a Dan Murphy’s major outlet. Working closely with Hill Lockart Architects, Quasar executed this significant project according to schedule and scope.

Located on Pitt & Park St Sydney, Quasar executed this project on an extremely limited timeframe (9weeks), with limited access to the site. The team worked hard to deliver the newly renovated Hungry Jacks store just in time for Christmas.

This large format retail project encompasses a site inclusive of parking, totalling 11,000sqm. Working closely with our repeat client, Fabcot, the stand-alone Woolworths warehouse totals 4,400sqm. A particular challenge in this project was the accelerated program which included; the significant RMS works (relocation of traffic lights and substations etc).

The directive of the Rhodes Shopping Centre Stage 01 - Podium Refurbishment, fit out and upgrade works was to create an inviting space that will appeal to the Centre’s customers whilst also providing an updated and vibrant architectural embellishment of the shopping centre. Quasar executed all provisions within the scope of the project to a benchmark standard and considerable positive reviews from both architect and shopping centre.
